The New Windmill Hall – Upminster

Originally built by the London Borough of Havering in the 1960s as part of its community culture and leisure provision, The New Windmill Hall is situated on the edge of parkland and on a main route into Upminster.

In 2012, the management of the Hall was passed to an enthusiastic and entirely voluntary group of local Upminster residents, called ‘The New Windmill Hall Community Association.’ A considerable program of refurbishment and redecoration, including toilets and kitchen, has been undertaken, resulting in a pleasant, adaptable and well-equipped venue to suit a wide variety of uses.
